Blue Spirulina Lemonade for Weight Loss

A colorful, refreshing drink that combines blue spirulina with fresh lemon juice, creating a hydrating, nutrient-rich lemonade.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon blue spirulina powder
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 cups cold water or sparkling water
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons natural sweetener (honey, agave, or calorie-free sweetener)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint or cucumber slices (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Juice the lemons and strain if desired.
  2. Dissolve the sweetener in a small amount of warm water if using.
  3. Add cold water or sparkling water to a large pitcher.
  4. Sprinkle the blue spirulina powder over the surface and whisk vigorously.
  5. Combine the lemon juice and dissolved sweetener with the spirulina water.
  6. Add ice cubes and garnish with mint or cucumber if desired, then serve immediately.

Notes

For a creamier texture, briefly blend with a small piece of banana or unsweetened yogurt.
