Canaan Honey Drink

A simple honey-lemon tonic that supports appetite control and provides a low-calorie alternative to sugary drinks.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon honey (raw or pasteurized)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (substitute lime if desired)
  • 8 ounces warm water (120-140°F or comfortably warm)
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon or ginger
  • Optional: unsweetened green tea (to replace some water)

Instructions

  1. Measure 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 1 teaspoon honey into a heatproof mug; warm water to 120-140°F.
  2. Pour 8 ounces of warm water over the honey and lemon; stir until honey is fully dissolved.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or lemon juice if needed.
  4. Optionally steep with a green tea bag or add a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor.
  5. Serve warm or chill for a refreshing drink.
  6. Store any concentrate safely in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 5 days.

Notes

Keep to 1 cup (8 ounces) per serving; limit added honey to control calories. Drink in the morning on an empty stomach to test appetite effects.
