Dr. Mark Hyman Gelatin Recipe for Weight Loss

A nutrient-rich gelatin recipe designed to support weight loss by keeping you full and aiding digestion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin
  • 2 cups water or unsweetened fruit juice
  • Optional sweeteners (like honey or stevia)
  • Optional fruits (for flavor and vitamins)

Instructions

  1. Measure 2 cups of water or juice and heat in a small saucepan over medium heat until warm.
  2. Slowly sprinkle 2 tablespoons of gelatin over the warm liquid, stirring gently to prevent clumps, and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Once bloomed, place the saucepan on low heat and stir until the gelatin has completely dissolved (about 3-5 minutes).
  4. Add any desired sweeteners or flavorings and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into molds or a glass dish. If using fruits, layer them in after pouring half of the mixture.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours to allow it to set completely.
  7. Cut into cubes or serve directly from the mold and enjoy!

Notes

You can customize the recipe by using flavored carbonated water for a fizzy treat or adding lemon juice for a detox version.
