Dr. Oz Manuka Honey Lemon Wellness Drink

A soothing warm beverage made with Manuka honey, fresh lemon juice, and warm water, ideal for supporting hydration and gentle detox habits.

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 ounces warm water (200 to 275 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Manuka honey (UMF-rated if possible)
  • Optional: a pinch of ground ginger
  • Optional: a few slices of cucumber or a sprig of mint

Instructions

  1. Heat water to warm, not boiling (around 120 to 130°F/50 to 55°C).
  2. Squeeze fresh lemon juice into a cup until you have about 1 tablespoon, straining seeds and pulp if desired.
  3. Add the lemon juice to your warmed cup.
  4. Stir in 1 teaspoon of Manuka honey until dissolved.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity by adding more honey or lemon if preferred.
  6. Optional: Garnish with a thin lemon slice or a mint sprig, or cool to room temperature for a milder flavor.

Notes

For best results, drink on an empty stomach to curb cravings. Adjust the recipe to fit your dietary preferences.
