Dr. Rocio Pink Gelatin

A simple and refreshing gelatin drink that satisfies cravings while supporting weight management.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet of flavored gelatin powder (strawberry or mixed berry)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup fruit juice or natural sweetener (optional)
  • Fresh fruit or chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure and bloom gelatin by sprinkling the gelatin powder over 1 cup of cold water in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Heat the remaining 1 cup of water until near boiling and remove from heat.
  3. Pour the hot water over the bloomed gelatin and stir for 20-30 seconds until completely dissolved.
  4. Add your juice, sweetener, or flavor extract to taste; adjust flavors after chilling.
  5. Chill the mixture in a shallow pan or molds for 1.5 to 3 hours until set.
  6. Cut and portion the gelatin using a spoon or small cookie cutter. Serve chilled.

Notes

For a quicker set, use a shallow dish. To adjust flavors, taste and modify after chilling.
