Gelatin Sequins: A Deliciously Slimming Treat

Gelatin sequins are a delightful treat that combines fun flavors with a nutritious boost, making them an ideal companion for your weight loss journey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 packet gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup fruit juice or flavored syrup (low-calorie or sugar-free)
  • Sweetener (optional, such as honey or stevia)
  • Fresh fruit or aromatics (optional, such as berries or citrus zest)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: Make sure you have all your components ready: gelatin powder, juice, sweetener, and any additional flavorings or fruits.
  2. Mix gelatin and water: In a bowl, combine the gelatin powder and a small amount of cold water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Heat the juice: In a small saucepan, warm your chosen fruit juice over low heat until it’s steaming, but do not boil it.
  4. Combine and dissolve: Stir the bloomed gelatin into the warm juice until it’s completely dissolved and smooth.
  5. Sweeten to taste: If desired, add your sweetener during the mixing process. Stir thoroughly.
  6. Pour into molds: Use silicone molds for easy release or a shallow dish for cutting later. Pour the mixture in and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2-4 hours or until set.
  7. Cut or remove from molds: Once firm, pop the sequins out or cut them into desired shapes and enjoy!
