Honey and Olive Oil Mix

A simple yet effective home remedy blending raw honey and extra virgin olive oil, perfect for a morning tonic or a light addition to meals for appetite control and improved digestion.

  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Optional: 30-50 ml warm water (30–40 C)
  • Optional: Squeeze of lemon juice
  • Optional: Pinch of ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Measure ingredients: Combine 1 tablespoon of raw honey with 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil in a small bowl.
  2. Warm water: Heat 30 to 50 ml of water to about 30 to 40 C and pour into a mug.
  3. Add honey: Spoon honey into warm water and let it rest for 15-20 seconds.
  4. Stir in olive oil: Slowly drizzle olive oil while stirring gently for 10-15 seconds.
  5. Taste and adjust: Check sweetness and warmth; add lemon juice or cinnamon if desired.
  6. Beginner tip: For a quick option, combine 1 teaspoon of olive oil with 1 tablespoon of honey directly.
  7. Store any extra in a sealed container in a cool, dark place.

Use high-quality raw honey and extra virgin olive oil for the best results. Avoid boiling water to preserve honey enzymes.
