Jillian Michaels Gelatin Trick Recipe

A simple, homemade gelatin drink that promotes satiety before meals to help curb cravings and manage appetite.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) hot water
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) cold water
  • Optional: zero-calorie sweetener or honey
  • Optional: sugar-free flavored drink mix or splash of juice
  • Optional: few drops of fresh lemon or vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Measure the gelatin and sprinkle it into a heatproof cup or bowl.
  2. Add hot water and stir for 30 to 60 seconds until fully dissolved.
  3. Stir in sweetener or flavored drink mix, then add cold water and a few ice cubes.
  4. Chill in the fridge for about 20 to 60 minutes until set.
  5. Serve and enjoy 10 to 30 minutes before your meal.
