Perfect Gelatin Fruit Gummies

Delicious and chewy snacks made from gelatin and fruit juice, perfect for a healthy treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fruit juice (100% juice with no added sugars)
  • 24 tablespoons gelatin
  • 23 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon citric acid (optional)
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Gather ingredients and tools: molds, saucepan, and whisk.
  2. In a saucepan, mix 1 cup of fruit juice and 2-3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup over low heat until fully integrated.
  3. Sprinkle 2-4 tablespoons of gelatin over the juice mixture. Let it bloom for a few minutes, then stir over low heat until dissolved (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of citric acid if using, and stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a baking dish.
  6. Chill for at least 2-3 hours or until set.
  7. Once set, gently remove gummies from molds and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

These gummies can be customized with different fruit juices or sweeteners. Store them properly to maintain freshness.
