A warm, soothing beverage made from turmeric, ginger, and honey, renowned for its health benefits and soothing flavors.

  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: fresh or ground turmeric, ground ginger, black pepper, honey, and water.
  2. Boil the water in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches a rolling boil.
  3. Add turmeric and ginger; stir well to combine.
  4. Lower the heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Strain the mixture into a mug using a fine mesh sieve.
  6. Add honey or maple syrup, a dash of black pepper, and lemon juice; stir to combine.
  7. Sip your turmeric tea slowly while warm.

Notes
