  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups fruit juice or puree (e.g., orange, berry)
  • Sweetener to taste (e.g., maple syrup, agave)
  • Fresh fruits for serving (e.g., berries, mango)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: agar-agar powder, fruit juice or puree, sweetener (if desired), and water.
  2. In a small saucepan, add water and agar-agar powder. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring until completely dissolved.
  4. Lower the heat, stir in fruit juice or puree and any sweeteners. Taste and adjust as necessary.
  5. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and pour mixture into mold containers. Add fresh fruit pieces if desired.
  7. Allow jelly to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes before transferring to the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours.
